VOTE Memorial Names Shirt: Say Their Names, Then Vote

VOTE Memorial Names Hoodie in Black, VOTE spelled in the names of 62 lives lost to ICE - Good Trouble Fashion

Look closely at the word VOTE on this shirt. Every letter is made of names. The VOTE Memorial Names Tee and VOTE Memorial Names Hoodie spell out VOTE in the names of 62 people who lost their lives to ICE in 2025 and 2026. Some were fatally shot by ICE officers. Others died in ICE custody. Under the names it reads, simply: "In memory of 62 lives lost to ICE · 2025–2026."

Why we made it

Behind every number is a person, and the numbers have climbed fast. ICE's own records show 33 people died in its custody in 2025, the highest toll since the agency was created in 2003 (San Francisco Chronicle). Human Rights Watch and Physicians for Human Rights counted 52 deaths in ICE custody between January 20, 2025 and June 4, 2026, as the number of people held in detention passed 71,000 (Human Rights Watch).

Detention isn't the only place people have died. A CBS News review found that federal immigration agents have killed nine people and injured 13 others in at least 30 shootings during the second Trump administration (CBS News).

A few of these names made national headlines. Most never did. We wanted a design that puts them all in one place and turns them into one instruction.

Say their names. Then vote.

Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Every seat in the U.S. House is on the ballot, and Congress writes immigration law and decides how much money goes to detention. Wear the names to an early-voting site, a No Kings rally, a canvass shift or your polling place, and let people read them.
